2020 was an interesting and challenging year for sure. Thankfully, there were some high points as well. At AmeriSpec Inspection Services in Bloomington, we are thankful our business was able to keep going through the pandemic. We adjusted our policies and procedures, as so many businesses did, to keep our staff and clients safe. We are grateful that we could continue to provide professional home inspections during this difficult time.
This year made us even more aware of the needs around us. We wanted to do our part to give back and help those who are less fortunate. Below are some ways we finished 2020 off with a good note. We are continuing to hope for a better year in 2021!
Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation
We are proud to be named to the Chairman’s Circle for the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation. We are supporting an organization that supports America’s veteran community.
Founded in 1957, The Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation is a non-profit that raises funds to support our nation’s veterans and their families. The Foundation funds scholarships, service dogs, PTSD resources and veteran assistance grants. Their goal is to holistically enhance the quality of life of all veterans and their families, providing them with direct service and fostering an environment of comradery and goodwill among combat-wounded veterans. We are excited to be a part of this worthy cause.
Toys for Tots
John and Barbara Kaiser, our franchise owners, also supported the Toys for Tots organization this past holiday season. They collected more than 500 toys at their home, which was all decked out for the holidays.
Marine Toys for Tots program collects new toys to distribute to less fortunate children at Christmas. Their goal is to bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children. John and Barbara did their part to spread joy during the holiday season with their home light display as well as the toys they collected.
Angie’s List Super Service Award
We are the recipient of the Angie’s List Super Service Award for 2020. This award honors excellence among home service pros who maintain superior service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List. We are thankful to our many clients for trusting us with their home inspections this past year, especially during the pandemic!
